Mascot Volunteers Wanted – GHRA Community Events
Greater Hornby Residents Association managed by Volunteering Canterbury
The Greater Hornby Residents Association is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would be happy to wear our mascot outfit (Hornsby) at some of our community events, including discos, fun days, and family activities.
Mascot roles are fun, light‑hearted, and always a favourite with the kids. Volunteers will be supported by GHRA members at all times.
The mascot costume is a snug, fitted design and would comfortably fit someone of a small to medium build, and around 5'8 (172cm) for comfort and ease of movement. Hornsby does not speak, so there’s no pressure to talk — you simply bring the character to life through movement and presence
