Do you care about the safety and wellbeing of your neighbourhood? The Te Atatū–Glendene Community Patrol is looking for everyday locals who want to make a real difference in their community.

As a patroller, you’ll help keep our streets, parks, and public spaces safer by being extra eyes and ears for Police. You’ll patrol in pairs, receive full training, wear a uniform, and use a patrol vehicle — all while contributing just a few hours a month.

You don’t need any special experience and you don't even need to drive the patrol vehicle. If you’re reliable, community-minded, and willing to help, we’ll support you every step of the way. Training is straightforward, practical, and focused on common sense and safety.

Patrolling is rewarding, social, and meaningful. You’ll meet great people, build skills that look good to employers, and know that what you’re doing genuinely helps your community.
