Proofreader at The Lovepost

As *The Lovepost's *proofreader you'll ensure that all content published on the platform is clear, consistent and grammatically correct. One of your first tasks upon on-boarding will be to update our existing style guide.

Responsibilities

• Proofreading all content that is published on the platform. This includes correcting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors and copy-editing content to ensure it meets the publication's style.
• Liaising regularly with writers and editors.
• Resolving queries directly with writers, e.g. style and text inconsistencies.
• Proofreading all marketing collateral.

Ideal Candidate

• Has a minimum of one year of experience as a proofreader or in the final years of a relevant degree.
• Has a thorough knowledge of the English language.
• Has a methodical working style.
• Has great attention to detail.
• Has the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Is self-motivated.
