Want to help care for one of Otumoetai’s beautiful reserves? Join the Maungawhare Gully Care Group for a morning of hands-on conservation.
Meeting on Sunday 20th September from 09:30 to weed around newly planted native trees and remove invasive vegetation from the gully. This small act allows the native trees to thrive.
No tools required – just wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
If you’re keen to join, please register by emailing Angus Gough at Tauranga City Council: [email protected]. More details will be shared once you’ve signed up.
We’d love to see you there!
