Environmental Volunteering - Waikareao Estuary
Tauranga City Council supported by Volunteering Services (BOP)
Within a month
Want to help care for one of Tauranga’s beautiful reserves? Join us at the Waikareao Estuary for a morning of hands-on conservation.
We’ll be meeting on Monday 14th September from 13:30 to plant native wetland species along the estuary margins. This adds to the biodiversity of the area and creates new native habitat.
No tools required – just wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
If you’re keen to join, please register by emailing Angus Gough at Tauranga City Council: [email protected]. More details will be shared once you’ve signed up.
We’d love to see you there!
