Volunteer Committee Members Needed – Admin & Marketing Support

Each Abbeyfield house is supported by a local volunteer committee whose care and dedication help create the welcoming environment our residents call home.
He aha te tūranga – About the role:
Abbeyfield Manukau are looking for people who are organised, approachable, and good with details to join our local committee and provide administrative, marketing and committee support.
Your behind the scenes help keeps everything running smoothly, from communication and compliance to supporting residents and our housekeepers.
What’s involved?
- Helping with administrative tasks such as meeting notes, record keeping, and correspondence
- Supporting resident and housekeeper communications when needed
- Assisting with marketing, documentation and reporting
- Attending occasional committee meetings and contributing to planning
Ko wai koe – About you:
- Friendly, organised, and comfortable managing admin tasks
- Confident using technology: social media an advantage (email, Word, Excel, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin etc.)
- A good communicator who enjoys teamwork and community connection
- Able to offer a few hours each week to help make a tangible difference
