Tamai Sports is a Christchurch Charity putting youth sport at the heart of the community. We remove the barriers of cost, transport, gear and confidence that stop tamariki in East Christchurch from getting involved in sport and movement. Every programme we run is free.
The purpose of this role is to support picking tamariki up from school and bring them to sports training. The driver picks up the bus from Linfield Park, heads to a designated school to collect tamariki, then returns to Linfield Park for training. Looking for someone with the licence, experience and reliability to drive that bus safely.
You will drive a hired bus on the pick up run to and from Linfield Park; carry out basic pre-drive vehicle checks before each trip; drive safely and to te conditions; support tamariki getting on and off the bus safely; report any vehicle issues, incidents or concerns promptly.
