Secretary
Reflexology New Zealand managed by Volunteer Kāpiti

Reflexology New Zealand (RNZ) is the national body for reflexology practitioners. Its constitution requires a secretary for the National Committee (the RNZ Board) to legitimately function, so this role makes a real difference. Day to day, you'll: • Submit a monthly Secretary report (bullet points, one-pager) • Help the President set meeting agendas and follow up Committee members about their monthly portfolio reports • Attend and minute monthly online Committee meetings (Monday evenings, 7–9pm) and attend one or two in-person weekend Committee meetings per year • Draft and circulate minutes once the President has approved them • Manage incoming emails and correspondence (small amount). • Keep records updated in SharePoint • Update the Registrar of Incorporated Societies as required by legislation • Support the AGM in June each year
You'll build valuable, transferable skills along the way: governance experience, minute-taking and record-keeping, working with the Microsoft 365 suite, and the communication and relationship skills that come with being the central contact point for a national organisation.
Location: Mostly from home, anywhere in Aotearoa. The President is based in Paekākāriki. Travel to one or two in-person weekend Committee meetings each year (Auckland or Christchurch, October and March). Travel expenses are reimbursed.
