Community Network & Events Support

Volunteer Kāpiti brings people together, and that takes practical hands-on support to make it happen. Our monthly KCN meetings, community workshops, and volunteering expos are keyways we stay connected with our member organisations and the wider Kāpiti hapori.

As part of our Volunteer Kāpiti team, you'll be one of the logistics legends who makes those moments run smoothly. Each shift is a self-contained 4.5-hour block, so you can plan around your life while making a real contribution.

On a typical shift, you might:

• Help set up and pack down venues for KCN meetings, workshops, or expos • Welcome attendees and help them feel at home • Assist with registration, name badges, or sign-in processes • Support facilitators and speakers with any practical needs • Help with catering setup, morning/afternoon tea, or refreshments • Assist with displaying promotional materials or expo displays • Provide a friendly, helpful presence throughout the event • Report any health, safety, or access concerns to the lead staff member
