Kia ora, we are a volunteer-led multi-cultural organisation looking for volunteers to help out at a sustainable cultural market called Earth & Culture, at New Lynn Community Centre on the 13th of September. There will be multicultural stalls of food, second hand items of clothing/decor. There will also be environmentally conscious organisations sharing information and live music. Volunteers will be given free zero-waste training as this is a zero-waste event. We will also have a Wash Station where our community will take their plates, bowls and cups for a scrape and rinse! We will provide aprons, hats, gloves, etc for this station. Some volunteers will be needed to gently guide our guests to the correct bin for waste diversion (compost or recycling). Thanks!
