Our kaupapa is simple: connect people with nature through volunteering, training, education and employment, and inspire positive change in our communities.

Across Aotearoa, we help people become kaitiaki for te taiao through hands-on conservation projects.

Join us in Christchurch

Come along for a morning of hands-on conservation and help regenerate our city. We run plant rescue year-round, and planting sessions most weeks in winter, plus rubbish clean-ups and activities at our native plant nursery .

We also support Whaka-Ora Pest Project (WOPP), a community trapping programme protecting and restoring Whakaraupō/Lyttelton Harbour.

We provide the tools, equipment, experienced team leaders and refreshments – you just bring yourself!
