School support-Bilingual Social Media Content Creator

NZCEDA works with New Zealand schools to share their stories with Chinese families through Chinese social media platforms. We're looking for volunteers who can help our partner schools turn everyday school life into content that resonates with a Chinese audience.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with an assigned New Zealand school as their content partner

Writing social media copy in Chinese (and English where needed) based on photos, videos, and information the school provides

Editing short videos and photos for publication

Supporting schools through the review and approval process

Scheduling and publishing posts, and helping keep the account active and consistent

What we're looking for

Fluent in both Chinese and English — you can move comfortably between the two

Strong communication skills — you'll be the main point of contact for a school

A strong sense of responsibility and respect for commitments: schools rely on us to deliver on time

Able to commit long-term. This is not a one-off project.

Time commitment

There are no fixed working hours — you decide when and where you work. However, you will have set tasks to complete each week, and we ask that you commit to the role for the longer term rather than a few weeks.
