Volunteers at the Citizens Advice Bureau are the first point of contact for people looking for information.

Volunteers will meet people in the office, help them find information, and refer them on to another service if needed.

Citizens Advice Bureau in Blenheim is open Monday to Wednesday between 9:30am and 4pm and 10-2 Thursday & Friday's.

YOU CHOOSE the shifts you would like to do. We aim to be as flexible as possible for your availability during the week.

Full training is given; the initial training is online and can be completed at home. You will attend 3rd person shifts while you complete the online probation modules, with one of our amazing CAB Marlborough team members acting as a mentor.

Volunteers will need to have good communication skills; especially the ability to listen. They will also need to have basic computer skills as we have our own database to assist supporting our clients.

Volunteers of any age are welcome to apply; what matters is that you are friendly, mature, and reliable.

A criminal record check is required.

As a volunteer with Citizens Advice, you will be joining a fabulous team of friendly people from many different backgrounds and professions. You will learn skills and information that will be valuable not only to CAB clients, but also to you and your whanau. This is also a great opportunity to give back and/or pay it forward by supporting other members of your community!
