We're looking for a volunteer to lead our weekly community playgroup in Prebbleton. This role involves planning activities, setting up and packing down resources, welcoming families, and helping create a fun and engaging environment for children and caregivers.
Role Tasks: Independently plan and facilitate weekly playgroup activities. Set up and pack down play equipment and resources. Welcome children and caregivers and foster a sense of belonging. Encourage play, learning, and social connection. Maintain attendance and administration records. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all families.
What We're Looking For
A reliable and organised volunteer aged 18 years or older. Confidence working independently. Experience working with children under five and their families is preferred but not essential. A passion for supporting local families and strengthening community connections. Willingness to complete a Police Vetting check.
Time Commitment
Sessions run - Thursdays, 10.00am – 11.30am. Approximately 2.5 hours per week, including planning, set up, and pack down.
