The health and safety officer oversees fire safety, injury prevention, and reporting of incidents or near misses in our home which accommodates 14 independent aged residents. Activities include reporting monthly to the board. You will work alongside elderly residents, employed staff and board members. You will be available once a month for board meetings, prepare a report each month, visit the house as required to follow up issues. You need to have access to email and phone. If you have any health and safety experience we'd love to hear from you, but if you are interested in learning you're also welcome.
