Branch President - Hokitika Branch
Join our Hokitika Branch as a Branch President!
We are seeking a volunteer Branch President for our Hokitika Branch to help deliver humanitarian impact in your community. You'll lead, support, and represent a wonderful pool of around 50 Red Cross members and volunteers in Hokitika.
Role Description
When you join with us as a member, you can be involved in/be a part of:
- Supporting events and community programmes;
- Helping to create awareness in the community of Red Cross engagement on: Meals on wheels, disaster readiness and response, fundraising for NZRC activities and support for international programmes
- Ensure all branch activities and programmes operate in alignment within the strategic priorities of New Zealand Red Cross
- The opportunity to contribute your unique skills and to develop new ones, to gain experience and meet new people
Your Tasks
We are looking for a President to lead Hokitika Branch
Volunteer Requirements
- Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your past or current experience as well as completing the online application.
- A Hokitika resident with leadership experience is preferred
- 18+ years old
- A good communicator
- Able to commit to your team for at least 12 months
- Able to pass New Zealand MOJ Check (support Services Child/youth)
- Able to provide 2 referees for character check
