Community Volunteer Opportunities ! Come and clean at Oakley Creek.
Meet at 10 am, 09 August, Sunday at Waterview Glades,1508 Great North Road, Waterview, Auckland (Near Te Piringa Bridge).
This is a fantastic way to get out of that same-old-same-old routine, meet new people, exchange ideas to spark new ones, get light exercise and most of all make a difference to our community and environment.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Urban Ark, Friends of Oakley Creek along with Earth Action Trust.
All cleaning tools will be provided. Light refreshment will be provided after the event.
Coming to the event please consider to:
- Check the weather forecast and wear appropriate gear.
- By registering for the event, you acknowledge that you are physically fit for outdoor work for 2 hours.
- If you have allergies or medical conditions, carry any necessary medication and inform the event leader if required.
- Practice good hygiene and stay home if you’re sick.
- Children Under 16 - We welcome younger participants; please ensure they are accompanied by an adult for safety.
In case of extreme weather condition, you will be notified of the cancellation.
