Love Disney, Drawing, or a Good Game of Bowling? Be a Mate!

Got a creative side or a soft spot for classic Disney? You might be the perfect match for a great new friendship in the Roseneath–Melrose area.

IHC is on the lookout for a friendly, easy-going volunteer to hang out with someone who’s into all the good stuff — classic Disney animation, drawing and art, playing Disney tunes on the keyboard, getting outdoors, shooting some hoops and diving into Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh.

Weekends are all about getting out, having fun, and sharing interests — whether that’s a game of bowling, a bit of basketball, or a creative session with pens and paper.

Communication is part of the journey too — some sign language and Makaton are used, so we’re looking for someone patient, supportive, and happy to take the time to connect in a way that works for both of you.

Why give it a go? • Share the things you already love • Build a genuine friendship • Make a real difference in someone’s world • No special skills needed — just kindness, a bit of patience, and a willingness to have a laugh.

If you’re keen to spend your weekends doing something fun and meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

Because the best friendships often start with shared interests… and a bit of Disney magic.
