Matariki Community Event - Volunteers Needed

We're excited to announce that our Centre is back with our Matariki Star Quest but with a different vibe from last year!

From the 27th of June through to the 9th of July stars will be hiding within the bay and it’s up to the community to go and find them. On the 9th of July, we will conclude the star hunt with an evening filled with activities, prizes and free kai at the Blockhouse Bay Community Centre.

We’re looking for some amazing volunteers to help bring the evening to life through two separate areas on the 9th of July: • Kitchen support: assisting with setting up and serving of kai • Activities/workshops: helping run 3–4 simple activities for attendees

Volunteers are asked to arrive at 4:30pm to help with set-up and get settled before the event begins.
