Community Conservation Volunteer, Wellington

He rau ringa e oti ai, Many hands make light work. Conservation Volunteers New Zealand (CVNZ) empower the people of Aotearoa to become kaitiaki (guardians) for nature in their communities. Together, we can help people and nature thrive.

Join us for a volunteer day in Wellington. A typical day includes pest plant removal, litter clean up, tree rescue or planting native trees. There is something for everyone and we welcome all to join. CVNZ offer transport to site, all tools provided, necessary protective equipment and a light morning tea. Come along and give back to the local community and natural spaces of Te Whanganui a Tara, Wellington.
