Branch President- New Plymouth Branch
Join our New Plymouth Branch as a Branch President!
We are seeking a volunteer Branch President for our New Plymouth Branch to help deliver humanitarian impact in your community. You'll lead, support, and represent a wonderful pool of around 100 Red Cross members and volunteers in New Plymouth.
Role Description
When you join with us as a member, you can be involved in/be a part of:
- Supporting events and community programmes;
- Helping to create awareness in the community of Red Cross engagement on: disaster readiness and response; Meals on Wheels, Curtain Bank, fundraising for NZRC activities and support for international programmes,
- The opportunity to contribute your unique skills and to develop new ones, to gain experience and meet new people
Your Tasks
We are looking for a President to lead the New Plymouth Branch
Volunteer Requirements
- Please submit your CV and cover letter outlining your past or current experience as well as completing the online application.
- A Taranaki resident with leadership experience is preferred
- 18+ years old
- A good communicator
- Able to commit to your team for at least 12 months
- Able to pass New Zealand MOJ Check (support Services Child/youth)
- Able to provide 2 referees for character check
