As a Volunteer Support Worker, you will assist individuals with disabilities in social, recreational, and community-based activities. Your role is to foster inclusion, independence, and friendship while ensuring participants feel safe, respected, and valued.

Key Responsibilities

· Support individuals with disabilities during group activities, outings, and events

· Encourage social interaction, participation, and confidence-building

· Help facilitate inclusive and engaging activities

· Build positive, respectful relationships with participants

· Follow all safety guidelines and organisational policies

· Report any concerns or incidents to the program coordinator

Skills and Qualities

· Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Reliability and commitment to scheduled activities

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Open-mindedness and willingness to learn about different abilities and needs

· Previous experience in disability support is beneficial but not required
