About Generations Connect NZ
Generations Connect NZ promotes, creates and supports meaningful connections between people of different generations across Aotearoa New Zealand. We work to encourage and foster opportunities for people of all ages to connect, share experiences and strengthen communities.
About the role
We are looking for friendly, community-minded volunteers to help introduce Generations Connect NZ to community organisations and local groups.
This outreach role focuses on building awareness of the initiative and connecting with individuals and organisations who may be interested in participating in intergenerational activities.
What you might do
Activities may include:
Introducing Generations Connect NZ to community organisations and groups
Sharing information about intergenerational activities and opportunities to connect
Connecting with people who may be interested in participating
Helping build relationships with local organisations and community networks
Supporting outreach activities such as community visits, emails or flyer distribution
Some outreach can be done remotely (email or phone), while other activities may involve visiting community organisations within Auckland.
