Karori Youth Centre aims to provide a safe space for young people Karori. Our program is run for young people aged 10-18 and they generally connect really well with the age group that is just above them so this role is great for tertiary students looking for an opportunities that fit around their uni schedule. We currently open Mondays 3-7pm and Wednesdays and Fridays 3-6pm. Our hope is that you can join our team and make a difference in the lives of young people.Your role in our team will include playing games with youth, building quality relationships with them and helping with centre set up and pack down.

Key Responsibilities: Build positive relationships with young people and serve as a role model. Participate in and facilitate games, activities, and discussions. Support the Youth Development Worker (YDW) in the general running of the center. Ensure safe and appropriate interactions in line with best practices.
