Logo for Volunteering Canterbury

The Bishopdale Community Trust was established in 1999 to support people in the northwest area of Christchurch, in particular Bishopdale. We do this by:

Operating a drop-in community hub for locals

Running groups and activities

Helping people feel part of the community

Publishing the quarterly Bishopdale Bulletin newsletter

Maintaining the online Bishopdale Directory which provides information on activities, groups and clubs, services, places of worship, schools, shops and businesses in the Bishopdale area.

We are looking for organised and capable people to help us pack, sort and deliver donated Bread to schools/preschools and/or community pantries within Bishopdale, this role would suit people who...

  • have limited time but want to give back within the community
  • have a current Drivers Licence and vehicle
