Seaside Market Volunteer
New Brighton Project managed by Volunteering Canterbury
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with setup, pack down, and general support on market days. This role runs on Saturdays from 8:00am – 3:30pm, weather permitting. You’ll be part of a relaxed, friendly team at a vibrant community market run by a non-profit organisation. Tasks include helping set up and pack down gazebos and other market equipment, supporting stallholders, and lending a hand wherever needed. Volunteering can be a one-off, occasional, or regular commitment.
What we’re looking for: • A good sense of humour and positive attitude • Physically able to lift and carry gazebos and market equipment • Reliable and happy to work as part of a team
