Key Responsibilities: 1. Visitor Engagement and Interpretation - Greet visitors warmly and provide orientation to the park's layout and attractions. Share stories and historical insights about Christchurch's early colonial life, transportation history, and heritage buildings. Engage with guests in themed areas and exhibits such as within the Edwardian township

Safety and Site Stewardship - Monitor visitor activity to ensure safety and respectful behaviour around heritage exhibits. Assist with emergency procedures and report any incidents or hazards. Help maintain a clean and safe environment across the park.

Support for Heritage Activities - Participate in or support live demonstrations, tram rides, and special events. Wear period-appropriate costume (supplied) if required to enhance the immersive experience. Assist with school visits, guided tours, and educational programmes.

Customer Service and Sales Provide information about memberships, upcoming events, and park facilities. Operate point-of-sale systems for ticketing, retail, or food services if needed. Handle visitor feedback and escalate concerns appropriately.

Team Collaboration Work closely with volunteers, heritage specialists, and other staff to deliver a cohesive visitor experience. Attend training sessions on local history, customer service, and health and safety. - Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
