Volunteer Van Assistant

We have 3 Day Programmmes in Christchurch. One in Linwood and the other 2 in Riccarton. The Van Assistants either do the morning shift 8:45am -10:30am or afternoon shift 2:15pm -4:30pm. Their role is to assist the transportation of the older clients to and from the Day Programme,
The Day Programmes are open Monday to Friday.
We are looking for people who are fluent in English.
Some of our clients have dementia and memory loss, it is important that the Volunteers are able to communicate clearly and concisely with the clients. We ask for at least a 3 month commitment to the role.
Preferably you will have had experience working with older people.
