Key Duties:

  • Clean and maintain cat areas, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, and ensuring a tidy environment.

  • Spend quality time with the cats, providing affection, social interaction, and comfort.

  • Adhere to set feeding and cleaning schedules to ensure the animals' health and well-being.

  • Assist with extra tasks during kitten/puppy season or when other volunteers are unavailable.

Requirements:

No prior experience is required – full training will be provided.

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time.

  • A passion for animal welfare and a gentle approach to caring for cats.

  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older, as per OSH requirements.

About Us:

Animal Care Turangi is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to helping animals and people. We promote responsible pet ownership, life-long adoptions, and educate the community on animal welfare. We care for over 150 animals each year, all while relying on fundraising and the support of the Turangi community.
