An animal loving volunteer located close to Oxford (View Hill) required to feed and water bird rescue birds while rescue founder is at work (Mon to Fri).

The position requires you to be on site 3 times a day for between 15 minutes to 45 minutes early am, lunchtime and late afternoon/early evening during spring and early summer, and on site 1-2 times a day the rest of the year.

This position is an unpaid volunteer role, however an allowance of up to $20 a day is available to contribute to transport or meal costs

All training is provided to a keen and willing volunteer. For anyone with an interest in learning more about animal welfare, animal rescue or avian (bird) behaviour, rescue and care, I am happy to offer extra training. May also suit a student/vet/vet nursing student who is looking for avian work experience as part of their studies. If this needs to be formalised for course requirements, I can certainly talk to my vet and your tutor to see how we can do this if you are a reliable and dedicated volunteer.
