ECPAT Child Alert Trust (ECPAT NZ) is a wide-reaching for-purpose organisation with a small team committed to creating a world where children in Aotearoa are free from all forms of sexual exploitation. We work with relevant sectors, government agencies, and communities to prevent children and young people being sexually exploited. Our multifaceted approach includes research, specialist trainings, campaigning, national and international advocacy, legal submissions, interviews, and educational resources.

Intern with us and receive university credit for your mahi! We are seeking an intern who can fulfil their uni requirements by joining our team. As a Google Ads & SEO Specialist Intern, you will have the skills to set up Google Ads campaigns and optimise SEO, and the desire to put these to the test in a real-world scenario.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimise metadata and SEO for ECPAT NZ's site
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
- Set up Google Ads campaigns for ECPAT NZ
- Analyse trends and perform keyword research
- Create internal handover documents to help staff continue the mahi after your internship ends
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Good organisation and detail-oriented work
- Motivation to self-learn and contribute to an important cause
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Yoast, Google Console and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with setting up Google Ad campaigns (NFP experience a bonus)
- Ability to communicate clearly in a remote setting
We are looking for someone who can start ASAP, or from mid-January! Please get in touch if you are in a position where doing an experiential placement would earn you university credit/fulfil a course requirement.
