As our volunteer Website Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping us connect with more whānau by developing a user-friendly, visually engaging website that reflects our kaupapa Māori values and commitment to Te Tairāwhiti.

Your work will directly support whānau on their journey toward home ownership, helping them build strong foundations for the future. By bringing our kaupapa online, you’ll increase our reach and the impact we can make.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in website design (proficiency in platforms like Webflow, Wix or Canva). A creative eye and the ability to translate kaupapa Māori values into design. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate ideas effectively. Passionate about supporting community-focused initiatives.

The brief

To design a simple website for Kaenga Hou Trust and provide short term support to ensure we can drive our new website! We have draft web content on Canva to share providing brand guidelines and the basic information pages we require. In terms of functionality we are looking at header and footer info, contact form, a tool to filter whanau.
