Duties required by the volunteer:

• Be available on the chosen day/s from 3:15pm - 5:15pm.
• Be punctual, neat and tidy and presentable for the shift.
• Work alongside other members of the team to determine the best use of time for the day.
• Be engaging and encouraging when communicating and connecting with youth
• Be available to listen or engage in conversation with the young people attending
• Report any concerns or incidents to staff
• Share successes with staff and the team
• Be willing to learn and grow as a youth leader

There are no necessary skills required, however, all volunteers must obtain a police check and reference checks before starting. There are opportunities for the volunteer to expand their knowledge and career with further training or qualifications, if they show a willingness to do so.
