ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Strategy Manager at Youthmix, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation's strategic direction and long-term success. You will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies that align with Youthmix's mission to “empower youth to thrive and excel in their careers”, ensuring that our programmes and initiatives effectively support young people in reaching their career potential. Working closely with the leadership team, you will help guide decision-making processes, oversee strategic planning, and contribute to the development of opportunities for growth.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans that align with Youthmix’s mission and vision.
• Collaborating with the leadership team to set organisational goals and objectives.
• Monitoring and analysing trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Leading strategic initiatives that drive the growth of our programmes and outreach efforts.
• Providing insights and recommendations to optimise our programmes, services, and operational effectiveness.
• Supporting ongoing business development and resource allocation efforts.
• Reporting on strategic outcomes and ensuring transparency in decision-making.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of non-profit operations and the unique challenges of a volunteer-driven organisation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Leadership and decision-making abilities, able to guide teams towards achieving long-term goals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build partnerships.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• A passion for youth empowerment and a commitment to helping young people thrive.
