Each month we will be running a community event based around environmental monitoring. Events will involve either doing a biodiversity survey using the iNaturalist app, or doing Wai Care tests to measure stream water quality. By taking part, you will become a citizen scientist by collecting data which can then be used to tell us what environmental restoration work needs to be done where. It is also a great opportunity to learn all about and experience the rich ecology (both natural and not) of the Whau catchment.
