Each year the Curtain Bank supports an average of 400 Wellington houses to stay warmer by providing them with upcycled, fully lined curtains. But to do so, we need your help!

Curtain Bank are looking for volunteer machinists to adjust curtain donations by sewing hems, adding lining, sewing tape on etc. This role would suit an experienced home sewer with an eye for detail. You will be using industrial machines and work as part of a team with support from our head sewer. Join us in our mission and use your sewing skills to help households in the Wellington region live in warm, dry homes.
