Mount Business Association is seeking passionate volunteers to become Mainstreet Ambassadors for the upcoming cruise season. As an ambassador, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing visitors' experiences and supporting our local businesses.

Key Duties: Greet cruise ship passengers as they disembark at the port Provide friendly, informative guidance to our town centre and local attractions Offer recommendations for shopping, dining, and experiences in Mount Maunganui Answer questions about our area, including information about our beautiful beach and iconic Maunga (Mount Maunganui) Distribute maps and promotional materials Encourage visitors to explore our Mainstreet area rather than heading to shopping malls

Requirements: Enthusiasm for Mount Maunganui and knowledge of local attractions Excellent communication skills and fluency in English Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service Reliability and punctuality

Time Commitment: 90-minute shifts on cruise ship arrival days No minimum number of shifts required, but consistent availability is appreciated
