Experience Data Entry

The Experienced Data Entry Professional will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across various platforms. This role plays a key part in ensuring that critical information related to our conservation projects, fundraising activities, and volunteer management is captured and organized efficiently. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing large volumes of data with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry & Maintenance: •Accurately input, update, and maintain data in our databases, spreadsheets, and other systems. •Ensure timely entry of data related to volunteer activities, donations, events, and project updates. •Verify and correct data inconsistencies and errors.

  2. Database Management: •Assist in maintaining the integrity of the Trust’s databases by performing regular audits and checks. •Organize and manage digital records, including archiving historical data as needed.

  3. Reporting & Analysis: •Generate reports based on the entered data to support project teams and stakeholders. •Assist in data analysis for identifying trends and patterns to inform decision-making processes.

  4. Documentation & Record Keeping: •Create and maintain accurate data documentation, ensuring adherence to data entry standards. •Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all data entry processes are aligned with organizational needs.

  5. General Administrative Support: •Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required. •Assist in any other duties that may arise related to data management or administrative tasks.

Qualifications: •Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role. •Experience working with non-profit or conservation organizations is a plus.

Preferred Skills: •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Access. •Experience with data entry software and databases. •Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. •Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. •Good communication skills, both written and verbal. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection regulations. •High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data. •A passion for conservation and an understanding of Tiaki Taonga Trust’s mission and values is desirable.
