Experienced Senior Events Coordinators

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Māori Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in event coordination or management, with a demonstrated understanding of Māori culture and Te Reo Māori.

Desirable Attributes:

  1. Certification in event planning or related fields.
  2. Fluency in Te Reo Māori or a commitment to learning and integrating the language into events.
  3. Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  4. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges professionally while respecting cultural values.
  5. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. A deep understanding of the cultural history of NZ.
  9. Flexibility to work irregular hours
