Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution. Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal advisor or in a similar legal role.
2. Proven track record of handling complex legal matters and providing strategic legal counsel. Skills:
3. In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal principles.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
7. Proficiency in legal research tools and databases. Certifications:
8. Admission to the bar in NZ. Personal Attributes
9. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
10. Strong ethical standards and integrity.
11. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
12. Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
13. Deep understanding of the cultural history in NZ.
14. Te Reo Maori language is advantageous.
