Due to the expansion of our charity and the increasing demand for our crafted items, we are looking for additional enthusiastic and committed trustees to help guide and lead our charity. As a Trustee of Crafting Threads of Aroha, you will play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction and governance of the charity. Trustees are responsible for ensuring the charity is well-managed, financially sustainable, and operates within its mission and legal obligations. You will work collaboratively with fellow trustees and volunteers to support the growth and impact of our organisation. Trustees are expected to take an active role, supporting the charity's operations and offering leadership and guidance to volunteers. Crafting Threads of Aroha is a volunteer crafting charity in the Greater Wellington area that connects and supports communities through sustainable crafting. Our charity has a base of several hundred volunteer crafters who knit, sew and crochet fabulous items requested by other charities and organisations who pass them on to the babies, children and adults they support.
