Commitment Regular - less than 6 months
Training Requirements analysis will be provided, ie behaviour that should trigger the system, general introduction to the animals being studied, and I can gather photo and video on either wildlife camera at night or dslr during the day. I am available to work with you to figure out what is and is not possible, give feedback, refine reqirements, discuss and brainstorm roadblocks and so on.
Time required Very much negotiable. As long as you are willing to commit to this project I am happy for you to work whatever hours you can around any other committments like study, paid work, social life etc. ideally we would agree on a regular catch up maybe just a video chat on facebook, to see where we are at.
Reimbursement This is an unpaid position. A small budget may be available for purchase of hardware.
Requirements Software development skills in AI, hardware development, engineering, electronics. A problem solving mindset. An ability to come uo with new ideas and solutions. The ability to self manage, (i want to work with you on this but also want this to be YOUR project and your achievement). Some media coverage which may look good on your CV. can probably be organised if there is a successful product built at the end. Should any product be designed and built which had commercial potential, we would need to discuss at such time it looked like that was likely. Until that time I suggest we both own 50% of any rights or patent.
