Be involved in a cultural experience! The Te Puke Nagar Kirtan Sikh Parade is a colourful, joyful parade that takes place annually in Te Puke. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in this in Sikh custom.

COLAB has supported this event for the last few years by joining in the parade and organising volunteers. We have a close connection with the large Sikh Community here in Te Puke.

• We need people to walk along side the float vehicles during the parade. And just be there to support the parade.

• You will meet at the Temple approx 10am. Time TBC after logistics meeting on the 16th Sept.

• Head covering is required for women - this can be a scarf. The lovely ladies at the temple will be more than happy to show you how to wear it.
