Great opportunity to support young people by text, phone and web-chat.

This is a significant commitment of one evening per week, and for two years.

Must have good listening and engagement skills with other young people. Need to have some maturity and able to deliver a professional service. Be able to show warmth, unconditional positive regard and a non-judgmental attitude.

Online counselling course opens: Monday 27th January 2025. Noho Marae: 15th and 16th February 2025 (this training hui includes an overnight stay in Christchurch)

Six evening practice sessions (6:30 to 9pm): For Wairau, Nelson-Tasman, Timaru and West Coast Volunteers: Online video session on Tuesdays - 18th Feb, 25th Feb, 4th Mar, 11th Mar, 18th Mar & 25th Mar.
