Stock Angels
Trade Aid managed by Volunteer Kapiti
Trade Aid Kapiti are looking for volunteers to help sort and price incoming stock for their shop in Coastlands. Trade Aid shops are closing down nationwide and the Kapiti store is one of 7 that is remaining open for the next couple of months (hopefully until Christmas) to help sell as much of the fair trade products as possible.
They are receiving pallets of goods most weeks (sometimes 2 times a week!) and expect this to increase a bit as they keep the stock as high as possible. They are looking for people who can: Work accurately to stick price labels onto our products. Attention to detail is important. Enjoy handling the beautiful fair trade products. The job is done in Coastlands in a separate room from the shop.
In return you will get: First dibs on the stock that comes in! 10% discount on food items (the other items are already on 40 - 70%) A nice place to process stock - it's quiet and carpeted The opportunity to work with other like minded people to get the job done A sense of satisfaction when you see the product go from pallets to being displayed in the shop.
