ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Events Coordinator at Youthmix, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a wide range of events that support our mission. You will manage all aspects of event logistics, from conception to completion, ensuring each event runs smoothly and effectively achieves its objectives. Your role is key in creating memorable and impactful experiences for our community and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Develop and manage detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistical requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are covered.
• Work closely with speakers, performers, and other participants to ensure their needs are met and they are prepared for the event. Coordinate with volunteers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in promoting events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community outreach. Assist with developing promotional materials and ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage the event, ensuring all elements are executed as planned. Troubleshoot any issues that arise and provide support to attendees and participants.
• Collect feedback and assess the success of each event. Prepare reports on event outcomes, including attendee satisfaction and areas for improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop engaging event concepts and address any challenges that arise.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external partners, to achieve event goals.
