Volunteers for Garage Sale
Our garage sales are more than just a fundraising event—they’re a community hub where people come together to support a great cause. We’re looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals who love interacting with people and have a passion for helping others.
Volunteering at our garage sales is a rewarding experience where you’ll meet new friends, develop new skills, and be part of a team making a real impact in the Wairarapa community.
Whether you have a few hours to spare or just two hours on any given day, your contribution will be invaluable and deeply appreciated.
Key Duties:
- Friday (Setup Day): Volunteers will assist with setting up tables, arranging items for display, and organising the sale area.
- Saturday (Sale Day): Volunteers will help greet customers, manage sales, and help make an organised and welcoming environment.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- A friendly and approachable manner
- Basic organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
Time Commitment:
- We are looking for volunteers who can commit to either or both Friday mornings (setup) and Saturday mornings (sale day). If you only have a couple of hours to spare on any day, that’s perfectly fine! We appreciate any time you can contribute.
- The garage sale may be held weekly in the future, so regular commitment is appreciated but not required.
