KADAP's mission is to support senior residents to live in their homes with safety and dignity. We provide a range of services and support for members utilizing our pool of volunteers by doing what others are unable to do – ‘we fill the gaps’. Research shows that people are happiest when supported to remain living at home in their own environment. KADAP volunteers can help members to achieve this for longer. We are looking for a cheerful, honest person who would be happy to commit an hour or two each week or fortnight to visit one of our members at home, to have a cuppa and a chat. All volunteers require police vetting.
