Background:
We are a small, friendly team of health professionals dedicated to making life better for all people affected by mate wareware dementia in our community.

Our Cog cafes are an opportunity for people with mate wareware dementia and their supporters to socialise and catch up for a coffee and a chat.

No previous experience is necessary, we provide full training and support, our team of volunteers meet regularly to share experiences and support each other.

Position Objective: To work alongside the Dementia Advisor, to ensure our clients and their supporters have a wonderful experience socialising at our Cog cafes. The aim is to support development of friendships and ongoing connections.

Key tasks include:

• Welcome our clients and assist them to get comfortable
• Make introductions within the group
• Facilitate conversation between clients
