Background:
We are a small, friendly team of health professionals dedicated to making life better for all people affected by mate wareware dementia in our community.

The Active Brain and Connection group is for people in the very early stages of mate wareware dementia to come together in a small group (8-10 max) for friendship and cognitively stimulating activities that are relaxing and enjoyable.

No previous experience is necessary, we provide full training and support, our team of volunteers meet regularly to share experiences and support each other.

Key Tasks: To work alongside the Dementia Advisor to ensure the smooth running of the group

• Set up room & prepare for the activity if necessary
• Welcome and farewell clients
• Support the Dementia Advisor during the session
• Encourage participation and have fun
